Dr. Schlenker earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S) in 2000 from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. In 2006, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C) and was named the 2006 Most Outstanding Graduate.
After chiropractic school, Dr. Schlenker invested an additional 3 years of study to enhance his sports expertise. In 2011, Dr. Schlenker became a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP), making him one of only 400 chiropractors in the country who have received this elite credential. This knowledge and expertise have made Dr. Schlenker one of the most sought-after chiropractic physicians in the area of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.
Leveraging his deep understanding of musculoskeletal trauma and recovery, Dr. Schlenker also provides comprehensive care for individuals with injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents.
Following college, Dr. Schlenker played 2 seasons of professional baseball for the Gateway Grizzlies in 2001 and 2002. After the 2001 season, he was invited to play winter baseball in Perth, Western Australia for the Victoria Belmont Reds.
Dr. Schlenker is deeply committed to giving back to the community through sports. He regularly provides clinics, coaches youth and high school teams, and shares his advanced knowledge of sports medicine both on and off the field.
An avid athlete himself, Dr. Schlenker has participated in various sports including football, basketball, wrestling, and track/field. He's also an enthusiastic long-distance runner, completing several relay races such as Hood to Coast, Rainier to Pacific, and Cascade Lakes. Dr. Schlenker has recently challenged himself to compete in seven Iron Man races.
His personal and professional experiences in sports have shaped his specialized approach to medicine. While his primary goal is injury prevention, he also excels in managing and rehabilitating injuries, including those sustained in motor vehicle accidents. Dr. Schlenker's unique methodology emphasizes patient participation, ultimately accelerating recovery times.

Sierra joined Schlenker Chiropractic in 2023 and is the friendly face you'll see when you walk through our doors. Outside of work, Sierra enjoys spending time with friends and finding outlets to express her creativity!
